Local Business Owners Getting Better with Age?

The intrepid Greg Sterling recently posted a summary of stats drawn from a recent NY Times article.  This stat really stood out: "the number of self-employed people ages 55 to 64 is soaring...climbing 52 percent from 2000 to 2007."

  5. Well, I'm 49, I'm a woman, and I recently started my own business and I'm on Merchant Circle! So,yeah, I think that a lot of baby boomers are starting, or have started, their own businesses.
